Tamas and the people at ANT Contracting were great. We hired them for a full apartment renovation (kitchen, bath, living space). Tamas put the highest priority on quality from the very start and it was evident in the final product as he brought our ideas and designs to life (without the help of a designer). He was very easy to work with, always available on his cell (there were several instances when we spoke before 7am or after 9pm), and always willing to accommodate our requests, such as adding a custom bench in the breakfast nook or adding a shelf in the shower. He also provided helpful advice along the way and was very communicative throughout the entire process, always calling or texting us when issues arose. In the few cases where something didn't turn out according to our expectations, he was willing to do the extra work to make it perfect. As a first time co-op buyer, who wanted to completely gut a large one bedroom apartment (kitchen, bathroom, cabinetry, closets, doors, walls and floor) while paying rent on an apartment before moving in, I needed to find a contractor quickly. I needed a contractor who would be able to help me through the co-op process, help with all the decisions the renovation required in the order they needed to be made, and to be patient with the difficulty I had in making all these decisions, all that and one who would do beautiful work in the time frame agreed upon. It was a very tall order but through a few excellent recommendations from people in the building Tamas Tiszold , ANT Contracting Inc, did all that! Tamas takes great pride in the work he and his team do and was very happy when I was happy with the results. My apartment is gorgeous, the work meticulous. The wood floor, custom cabinetry in the kitchen, bathroom, under window units, the closets designed to fit my needs, the style of the doors, moldings, smooth new walls, and everything done as I wanted it. It did take one week longer than promised for me to move in, but within the original contract price!
